Annual Melodies Walk Host Venue!
Melodies Walk
Every spring, the heart of the New Forest comes alive with Melodie’s Walk—a day that turns a good cause into an unforgettable tradition.
On Saturday 9th May, the Alice Lisle in Ringwood is proud to host the Annual Melodies Walk for the eleventh year running. This year, there's even more reason to join in. We're raising money for Cameron as he continues his recovery journey. Cameron is a well-loved member of our community who’s walked with us in years past, and this year he'll be wheeling his way over the whole 14-mile route, showing real spirit and determination. All funds raised will support both Cameron and Macmillan Caring Local (Christchurch), the charity working tirelessly for families who need them most.
The day begins with a scenic 14-mile trek through the New Forest, followed by a lively party at the Alice Lisle. Walking tickets include an energising breakfast and entry to the evening celebration. There’s plenty to enjoy, country and western style—from live music and a bucking bronco to a bouncy castle for the children. The evening party welcomes everyone, with good food and drink running late into the night.
Last year, the sun shone, the pubs buzzed, and smiles were everywhere—proof that it’s more than a fundraiser; it’s a festival of community and generosity. Whether you’re walking, celebrating, or simply lending your support, you’ll be part of something meaningful.
So, pull on your boots, grab your hat, and help us make this year’s Melodies Walk the best yet. For more details or to get involved, contact the Alice Lisle directly or check our social channels for updates on tickets and timings.
We look forward to welcoming you and making a real difference together for Cameron and for Macmillan Caring Local.
